Early intervention that begins
where your child is.

Small groups. Specialist-led. Hands-on.
Built around each child's unique learning profile.

Program 1

Early Foundations

Ages 3 to 5
What it is

A structured, play-based early intervention program that builds the foundational skills every child needs: language, attention, coordination, early literacy and numeracy readiness. Sessions are joyful, purposeful and carefully observed by a specialist throughout.

Who it is for

Children aged 3 to 5 who would benefit from a rich, structured early learning environment, whether they are showing early signs of learning differences or simply need more time and a different approach to build strong foundations.

Program 2

Specialist Learning Support

Ages 5 to 8
What it is

A specialist early intervention program for children with identified or emerging learning differences. Sessions are structured, consistent and built around each child's individual profile, working across the skill areas that matter most for that child.

Who it is for

Children aged 5 to 8 who find reading, writing, numbers or attention harder than expected. Children whose potential is clear but who need a different kind of support to let that potential come forward.

The areas we work on

Phonological awareness and reading · Attention and working memory · Fine motor and coordination · Written expression · Numeracy and number sense

Not every child needs all areas. We observe first, then we build a program around what your child needs most.

What makes Resource Room different.

Montessori-informed

Hands first, one concept at a time, child has agency. Error is part of the process.

SLD-aware from the ground up

Both founders are trained in Specific Learning Differences, present in every design decision and every session.

Neurodiversity as a starting point

Every session is built around the child's strengths first, not despite their differences.

Parent partnership, always

Regular updates in plain language on what your child is building and what to continue at home.

What happens inside
a Resource Room session.

1

Arrive and settle

Small, calm, familiar space. 3–4 other children. Specialist already present and ready.

2

Movement first

A physical warm-up: coordination, rhythm, movement path. Regulates the body so the mind can focus.

3

Core activity

Multisensory and hands-on: tracing, building, sequencing, numbers through objects. Designed to feel like play. Specialist observing throughout.

4

Reflection

Brief and without pressure: what felt good, what felt hard. A safe, honest moment for a child who has learned to stay quiet about difficulty.

5

Parent update

Regular notes in plain language: what your child is building, what to continue at home. A child's learning doesn't begin or end in a session.
